Summertime Sno Youth Program

This is our youth program for kids between the ages of 9 and 15 years of age. Youth sell sno-cones at various events in the community and earn rewards in return.

 Youth can boost math skills, self-esteem, and volunteer experience at community events. Interact with peers, earn rewards based on service hours. Engage, learn, and grow together in local parks. 

Parents can register their children, ages 9 to 15, to volunteer Wednesday to Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM. Youth will be trained on how to order supplies and make sno cones, budgeting, customer service, and skills sets for dealing with money.  As their volunteer hours increase, they will earn gift cards to various restaurants and retail stores.

To take part in our youth program, youth must be pre-registered by their parents or guardians. We will have adult volunteers to assist (a background check is necessary). We can get your kid(s) and drop them off if you'd like. Before and during the event, the child will receive a uniform shirt and receive training on various skills such as counting money, balancing cash funds, customer service, entrepreneurship, and teamwork. We're going to youth events where we're going to have a "FUN" time. 

Volunteer up to 40 hours from June to September = Youth can choose 1 gift card from multiple retailers or restaurants after each youth event they volunteer at. 

At the luncheon/dinner they will be honored and recognized for their community service hours. 

Gift cards will be provided to youth to purchase school clothes and supplies.
