Welcome to Stuck in the Middle (S.I.M.), a unique charity program that supports and improves lives to maintain stability. S.I.M. provides financial literacy classes through the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC), food box distribution services through our food pantry, and financial assistance for America's families who don't qualify for government assistance yet face unexpected financial crises. S.I.M. stands by hardworking individuals and families, offering help to navigate unforeseen challenges and maintain stability.
Our S.I.M. program provides temporary financial assistance of up to $600 to help families maintain housing stability (preventing eviction), cover electricity costs during the summer months in Arizona and Wisconsin, and pay for minor vehicle repairs. This support ensures that "working families only" can stay employed and commute to work. To qualify for our financial assistance programs (housing, electricity, and vehicle repair), families must meet the 2024 income eligibility requirements listed below. (exceeding 225% makes you ineligible for our financial assistance programs) *** This is monthly household income before taxes, including job, self-employment, and other income sources like social security, disability, child support, worker's compensation, unemployment, and pension income.***
