Welcome to Stuck in the Middle (S.I.M.) - This program is designed to empower individuals and families by providing essential resources and support to overcome life’s challenges and achieve stability.
Workforce Development:
We will offer a dedicated space equipped with laptops and printers for use during job searches, resume creation, and completing job applications. Our team will also assist with job leads and applications, helping participants secure employment opportunities. Additionally, we will provide minor vehicle repairs to ensure that "working families only" can stay employed and have a commute to work.
Housing Stability:
Our program will focus on preventing evictions and ensuring housing stability. We will offer pro bono court support for those facing eviction, educate families on tenant rights, and act as mediators between tenants and landlords to resolve disputes and avoid homelessness.
Community Food Pantry:
We will continue our community food box distribution at our Goodyear office every Tuesday and Saturday, targeting families facing food insecurity. In addition, we will provide minor vehicle repair assistance to help working families maintain reliable transportation.
Financial Literacy:
To further empower our participants, Gervonni Cares will offer financial literacy classes both online and in person. These classes will equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to manage their finances effectively and build a secure future.
Our Stuck in the Middle Program is committed to providing the tools, support, and education necessary for individuals and families to thrive in their communities.
Together, let's make a difference.
